After a rather tough play, Fenix Academy Team 11's Filip Marchlewicz got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute Feliciano Nataniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Brodzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Filip Marchlewicz sped through Atlético Nuevo Laredo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabio Estebe. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Fabio Estebe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Filip Marchlewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kryspin Walicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Estebe having to interfere. Kryspin Walicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zenon Brodzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Damario, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 47 minutes, Wit Kieca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenix Academy Team 11 and the Atlético Nuevo Laredo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wit Kieca hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Bartolome was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Mauro Bartolome made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zenon Brodzki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amado Damario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Zenon Brodzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Nataniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Brodzki having to interfere. Zenon Brodzki made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Marco Nataniel sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, Mauro Bartolome ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zenon Brodzki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Slawomir Orlicki struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Fabio Estebe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenix Academy Team 11. The supporters of Atlético Nuevo Laredo booed when Fenix Academy Team 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Marchlewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Fenix Academy Team 11 defense, Mauro Bartolome kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zenon Brodzki. The Fenix Academy Team 11 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zenon Brodzki should have stopped the shot. Fenix Academy Team 11's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariusz Brudzisz in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Nataniel in the 96th minute of play forced Fenix Academy Team 11's goalkeeper Zenon Brodzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
