In the 7th match minute, The Feyli Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Ålberg to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes MINEIROS got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Linhares. A hard shot 14 in the game by Toninho Goiano from a close distance when the talented Nils Stigsson managed to make a qualified save. The Feyli Army's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Toninho Goiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils Stigsson was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Toninho Goiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils Stigsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Torgny Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Toninho Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MINEIROS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toninho Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Toninho Goiano made a precise shot to the right of Nils Stigsson. The Feyli Army's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 34 minutes into the match, The Feyli Army's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Amorim came free, but Nils Stigsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benê Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Stigsson having to interfere. The Feyli Army's Nils Stigsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save The Feyli Army from getting a goal against them. Joel Quadros struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Nils Stigsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MINEIROS. Joel Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Stigsson having to interfere. Nils Stigsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toninho Goiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, MINEIROS's Hugo Albuquerque made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils Stigsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Goiano in the 54th minute of play forced The Feyli Army's goalkeeper Nils Stigsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Stigsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Goiano in the 58th minute of the match. The Feyli Army's Nils Stigsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Quadros in the 60th minute of play. Nils Stigsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Benê Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nico de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Nils Stigsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nico de Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils Stigsson was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. A collision led to MINEIROS getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Nico de Mendonça hit a great ball. In the 76th minute of the match Daniel Hedkvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serginho Taffarel skillfully saved the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Toninho Goiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils Stigsson. The Feyli Army's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toninho Goiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Nils Stigsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico de Mendonça in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MINEIROS's Hugo Albuquerque got a free kick in the 84th minute. MINEIROS's Serginho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Ålberg in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Benê Amorim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MINEIROS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 93 played minutes MINEIROS got a freekick which was hit by Benê Amorim. In the 94th minute, Gösta Brodin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MINEIROS fully deserved thier win.
