When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Siro Claris sped through FC Bizon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kazimierz Budzyn. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Siro Claris in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kazimierz Budzyn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kazimierz Budzyn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siro Claris's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Anacleto Eutor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Czerny in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes FC Bizon got a freekick which was hit by Jerzy Czerny. Reynaldo Telo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kazimierz Budzyn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Siro Claris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wasyl Olejniczak lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of FC Bizon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Muñes de Don Cuco:s goal. When the match had been going on for 43 minutes, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Alfredo Ihintza got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kazimierz Budzyn. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Kazimierz Budzyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Claris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kazimierz Budzyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Telo in the 56th minute of the match. After 57 minutes, Alfred Wos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Bizon and the Los Muñes de Don Cuco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anacleto Eutor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jerzy Czerny's late challenge caught a Los Muñes de Don Cuco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerzy Czerny helped the player get up and apologised. Anacleto Eutor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Wos in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Siro Claris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Leonides Isadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bizon the free kick. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
