When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Xande Chaves sped through Purple Talents's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Steve Van der Veeken. After 13 minutes of play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Antônio Santos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Steve Van der Veeken was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Ove Ahlström got a free kick in the 16th minute. Steve Van der Veeken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Santos in the 19th minute of play. Diego Goos kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Steve Van der Veeken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Santos in the 27th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Jelle Manaers with Big Boba as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The throw-in from Jordy Sustens in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Pan De Wen. Steve Van der Veeken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Jordy Sustens with Big Boba as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 43 minutes into the match, Antônio Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Steve Van der Veeken. Purple Talents's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Steve Van der Veeken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Sens to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Antônio Santos put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Steve Van der Veeken. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Purple Talents's goalkeeper Steve Van der Veeken, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Antônio Santos made a precise shot to the right of Steve Van der Veeken. Purple Talents's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Santos in the 66th minute of play forced Purple Talents's goalkeeper Steve Van der Veeken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ booed when Purple Talents was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alain Van Huruck didn't get a good kick on the ball. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ made a substitution. Celsinho Capixaba replaced Erivaldo Sena. But to his dismay, Antônio Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After 83 minutes Purple Talents's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xande Chaves who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Makis Apostolakis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Purple Talents's Steve Van der Veeken did a great save. 87 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goalkeeper Steve Van der Veeken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antônio Santos. Steve Van der Veeken was a little too slow when Antônio Santos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-8. After a rather tough play, Purple Talents's Jordy Sustens got a free kick in the 96th minute. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ played a much better game than Purple Talents and deserved their victory. The Purple Talents players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
