Doğaner Rebi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Arce in the 4th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Solustiano got free with Doğaner Rebi in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Doğaner Rebi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, sirince's Doğaner Rebi got control of the ball when Ernesto Baudelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute Arnoldo Heli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğaner Rebi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Arce in the 22nd minute of play forced sirince's goalkeeper Doğaner Rebi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Gündüz Uygunel hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes sirince got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Selim Elmastaş. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Cristian Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Circulo Deportivo's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doğaner Rebi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isaias Ostots showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enginsu Özal in the 43rd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atalay Serdar made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Circulo Deportivo's Braulio Atarrabi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The supporters of sirince booed when Circulo Deportivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Circulo Deportivo's zone, Fazıl Hüsnü Argun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Ostots came out of the goal and Fazıl Hüsnü Argun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doğaner Rebi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Enekoitz in the 60th minute of the match. Cristian Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğaner Rebi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Arce in the 69th minute of play forced sirince's goalkeeper Doğaner Rebi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Arce took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doğaner Rebi. Doğaner Rebi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Doğaner Rebi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Solustiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Atalay Serdar managed to get in a good position for a shot. sirince's supporters rose to their feet, but Atalay Serdar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Ostots breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Circulo Deportivo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Fazıl Hüsnü Argun scored to the left of an out of position Isaias Ostots, making the score, 1-2. Although Circulo Deportivo had been in control for most of the match, sirince still came away with the win.
