The crowd rose to their feet as Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Andrew Brookman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Giovani da Costa. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Elói Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Giovani da Costa made a huge save. A collision led to FIEL F.C. getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Edgard Proença hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Charles Aranguiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Aranguiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovani da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th match minute, Lisburn Distillery F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Thielens to maneuver through the defense. Joe Dickens's late challenge caught a FIEL F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joe Dickens helped the player get up and apologised. Brian Lambert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clóvis Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Charles Aranguiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clóvis Duarte struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Brian Lambert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FIEL F.C.. With a little luck, FIEL F.C.'s Giovani da Costa got control of the ball when Leo Burns tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, FIEL F.C.'s Luizinho Mendes got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 32nd minute, Andrew Brookman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giovani da Costa. The goal made the score 2-1. Elói Alagoano hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Giovani da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Burns in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Alagoano in the 40th minute of play forced FIEL F.C.'s goalkeeper Giovani da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes in the game, Elói Alagoano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Giovani da Costa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Alagoano in the 44th minute of play forced FIEL F.C.'s goalkeeper Giovani da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

After a defensive mix-up in FIEL F.C.'s zone, Bobby Connell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovani da Costa came out of the goal and Bobby Connell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 minutes of play, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Andrew Brookman made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovani da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th minute Leo Burns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 60 minutes of play, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Andrew Brookman made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovani da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Andrew Brookman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giovani da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Giovani da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Giovani da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Burns in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, FIEL F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Brito to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Leo Burns left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lisburn Distillery F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. After some careless play in the FIEL F.C. defense, Elói Alagoano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovani da Costa. The FIEL F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovani da Costa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Aranguiz in the 83rd minute of play forced FIEL F.C.'s goalkeeper Giovani da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elói Alagoano took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giovani da Costa. Giovani da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-1. 88 minutes into the game, Andrew Brookman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-1. Giovani da Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FIEL F.C.'s Giovani da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Alagoano in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lisburn Distillery F.C. had played much better football throughout.
