Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rui Baiano took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Mariano Asur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Paulopolis booed when Cepicó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Asur didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Cepicó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Baiano came free, but Juan Bingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luís Capixaba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Bingen having to make a save. 17 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Huly came free, but Enio Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Fabio Salamon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Fabio Salamon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cepicó FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Chico Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Juan Bingen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cepicó FC's zone, Hudson Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Bingen came out of the goal and Hudson Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Baiano got free with Juan Bingen in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Asur was the one to do the kick off. Juan Bingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Salamon in the 60th minute of play forced Paulopolis's goalkeeper Enio Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enio Freire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Salamon went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Egídio Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paulopolis's protests and gave Egídio Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Paulopolis getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Egídio Fonseca hit a great ball. Enio Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Asur in the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cepicó FC's Fabio Salamon got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Melchor Librado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Cepicó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Baiano came free, but Juan Bingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cepicó FC's Juan Bingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Baiano in the 75th minute of play. Murilo Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Bingen having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Paulopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Baiano to maneuver through the defense. Juan Bingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Murilo Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
