Woytellen's Iwo Walczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Arruda in the 61st minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Wincent Przebendowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Woytellen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esquadrão Lusitano the free kick. A collision led to Woytellen getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jairo Gomes scored 1-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwo Walczak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute of the match, Jairo Gomes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iwo Walczak was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Tiago Arruda came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Esquadrão Lusitano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Arruda couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute of the match, Tiago Arruda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iwo Walczak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo Gomes got free with Iwo Walczak in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jairo Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Jairo Gomes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Iwo Walczak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
