Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robert Czerniak started the match with the kick off. Filip Hatman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aya Cuervas in the 3rd minute of play. Górnik Łęczna's Filip Hatman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javi Moreno in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Alavés's zone, Robert Czerniak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzo Cabezas came out of the goal and Robert Czerniak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Górnik Łęczna's Filip Hatman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Salinas in the 14th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Aya Cuervas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filip Hatman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sergius Prusak hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Filip Hatman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benat Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Wlodzimierz Maciejewski kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Javi Moreno sped through Górnik Łęczna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filip Hatman. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Javi Moreno put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Filip Hatman. After having played for 45 minutes, Antoni Gondek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Górnik Łęczna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antoni Gondek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maciej Buczak charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maciej Buczak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Górnik Łęczna's Maciej Buczak got a free kick in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some careless play in the Górnik Łęczna defense, Javi Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filip Hatman. The Górnik Łęczna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filip Hatman should have stopped the shot. Aya Cuervas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Javi Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filip Hatman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Javi Moreno put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Filip Hatman. When Deportivo Alavés's Javi Moreno in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Antoni Gondek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filip Hatman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javi Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Alavés's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
