Damian Raphael received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Damaso Orlin came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Flavio Bento could save by the left post. Isaac Sarracino hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Jose Lleir shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amado Galeno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Everardo Regis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Cosa Nostra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Regis made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Jose Lleir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Cosa Nostra and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes La Cosa Nostra got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Frichoso. Damaso Orlin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Flavio Bento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Orlin's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. La Cosa Nostra's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
