After a rather tough play, FC Eisenberg's Hellmut Hattermann got a free kick in the 31st minute. FC Eisenberg's Jona Kaufhold got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herwig Kielholz in the 40th minute of play forced CFR Sibiu's goalkeeper Jonathan Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Ronald Wiedemeyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jona Kaufhold kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half FC Eisenberg were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grady Goudreau was the one to do the kick off. Alonso Nieth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Rainey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the game, CFR Sibiu's Grady Goudreau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alonso Nieth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 59th minute, Kaspar Connemann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CFR Sibiu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Eisenberg the free kick. Emon Pelland kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of CFR Sibiu booed when FC Eisenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hellmut Hattermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Hatfield during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
