Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) RANGER FC's Pablo Botbol started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Kinsen during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guillermo Lekubegi came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by RANGER FC's Pablo Botbol. But to his dismay, Pablo Botbol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Pablo Botbol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guillermo Lekubegi came out and tried to block the shot, but Pablo Botbol slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 9th minute. Pablo Botbol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Lekubegi having to interfere. If Pablo Botbol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Botbol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Guillermo Lekubegi made a huge save. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Estudiantes de La Plata! When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, RANGER FC's Lavallén Marigorta got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Guillermo Lekubegi. 21 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Botbol came free, but Guillermo Lekubegi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Xofre Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Lekubegi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xofre Avellaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillermo Lekubegi made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Pablo Botbol sent off a good shot on target. Guillermo Lekubegi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Samaniego Biñayo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 32 minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Guillermo Lekubegi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Estudiantes de La Plata's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Xofre Avellaneda scored to the left of an out of position Guillermo Lekubegi, making the score, 6-0. In the 41st minute, Esteban Bucesta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillermo Lekubegi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xofre Avellaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estudiantes de La Plata's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Xofre Avellaneda scored to the left of an out of position Guillermo Lekubegi, making the score, 7-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo Txerran to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Botbol in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Lekubegi saved Estudiantes de La Plata from getting behind. Guillermo Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xofre Avellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Pablo Botbol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RANGER FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Guillermo Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xofre Avellaneda in the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Esteban Bucesta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Estudiantes de La Plata's Guillermo Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xofre Avellaneda in the 70th minute of play. Emanuel Cortez kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Lavallén Marigorta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guillermo Lekubegi. Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Estudiantes de La Plata's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lavallén Marigorta was slow to take the kick. During this time RANGER FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led RANGER FC's Lavallén Marigorta to fire away a dangerous shot which Guillermo Lekubegi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Estudiantes de La Plata's Guillermo Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Botbol in the 75th minute of play. Guillermo Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Botbol in the 77th minute of play. Julio Farran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejandro Kaxen went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Botbol came free, but Guillermo Lekubegi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Farran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Txerran in the 84th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, RANGER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Botbol to maneuver through the defense. Xofre Avellaneda took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillermo Lekubegi. Guillermo Lekubegi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. RANGER FC had played much better football throughout.
