Simpro's Lorenzo Eskuin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Simpro from getting a goal against them. Baldomiro Iratxo hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Gianluca Vialli could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Lorenzo Eskuin however easily saved by the left post. Epifanio Seme kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If Marco Rito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Simpro getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Pablo Isias hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Felix Teodor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simpro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lorenzo Eskuin had great luck who in the 30thth minute grab hold of the ball when Marco Rito from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Mauro Cordareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Cordareo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Eskuin saved Simpro from getting behind. After having played for 41 minutes, Marco Rito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falckner FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Rito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venancio Rocendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Rito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lorenzo Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Rito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Venancio Rocendo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Felix Teodor sent off a good shot on target. After 54 minutes, Pablo Isias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simpro and the Falckner FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when Simpro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Isias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Eskuin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli in the 55th minute of play. Marco Rito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Lorenzo Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenzo Eskuin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Rito in the 61st minute of the match. Lorenzo Eskuin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Rito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Gilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Rocendo having to interfere. Falckner FC made a substitution. Baldomiro Matei replaced Mauro Cordareo. 73 minutes into the match, Simpro's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Rito came free, but Lorenzo Eskuin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Gianluca Vialli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Eskuin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes Simpro got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Gonzalez. Lorenzo Eskuin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Rito in the 77th minute of play. Gianluca Vialli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Eskuin having to make a save. After some careless play in the Simpro defense, Gianluca Vialli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenzo Eskuin. The Simpro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Eskuin should have stopped the shot.
