Solskin's Valentin Holm suffered a fractured collar bone after 4 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Cristian Văduva fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minerul Baita -MM-'s protests and gave Cristian Văduva a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian Văduva hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Xalo Camara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when Solskin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Eliasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Solskin defense, Cornel Zamfirescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Ståhlberg. The Solskin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Ståhlberg should have stopped the shot. Herman Emander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sever Pandele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Ståhlberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sever Pandele's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Sever Pandele put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Ståhlberg. After having played for 32 minutes, Herman Emander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solskin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herman Emander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Rickard Smed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sever Pandele in the 36th minute of play forced Solskin's goalkeeper Tommy Ståhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Sever Pandele's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Ståhlberg was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Cristian Văduva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tommy Ståhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Sever Pandele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Ståhlberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sever Pandele in the 45th minute of play forced Solskin's goalkeeper Tommy Ståhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sever Pandele in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Ståhlberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herman Emander made a kick off. Tommy Ståhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Văduva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sever Pandele in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Ståhlberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tommy Ståhlberg had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Sever Pandele from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 56th minute of the match Minerul Baita -MM- got a corner. Solskin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cornel Zamfirescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sever Pandele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cristian Văduva in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Solskin's goalie prevented a goal. Ionică Şendrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Ståhlberg having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Bogi Miner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Ståhlberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 72nd minute Bogi Miner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Ståhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niclas Bern kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sever Pandele's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Ståhlberg was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Nechifor Lăcătușu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes, Xalo Camara made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Solskin's Tommy Ståhlberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Cristian Văduva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Sever Pandele got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Herman Emander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Solskin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Minerul Baita -MM- were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
