If Bert Willems had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celestino Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bert Willems, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Ajax Amsterdam's Bert Willems in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Paladar Negro FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ajax Amsterdam's performance. The match ended with a win for Ajax Amsterdam.
