The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. André Vilhena in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Maore, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonathan Maore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Vilhena's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Vilhena in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Maore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inocencio Bertin hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Jonathan Maore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Vilhena's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Bernardo Ixidor hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game André Vilhena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desastre FC's Jonathan Maore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Quintino Sardinha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raimundo Fontoura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Estefan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SC Foios's Egídio Ferrão got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 31 played minutes Desastre FC got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Lucado. The supporters of SC Foios booed when Desastre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Estefan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Fontoura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Bertin, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Quintino Sardinha fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Foios's protests and gave Quintino Sardinha a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Quintino Sardinha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Desastre FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Vilhena came free, but Jonathan Maore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Estefan was the one to do the kick off. When Jordão Garcez fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Foios's protests and gave Jordão Garcez a yellow card for diving instead. Jordão Garcez kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 55 minutes, André Vilhena made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Desastre FC's Jonathan Maore tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-0 when André Vilhena sped through Desastre FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Maore. In the 67th minute, Bernardo Ixidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, André Vilhena put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Maore. If Inocencio Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Vilhena in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Maore saved Desastre FC from getting behind. Jonathan Maore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Vilhena went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the game, Jordão Garcez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Jonathan Maore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute, Inocencio Bertin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the SC Foios players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
