Mike Jefferies took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Carlos Oliveira. João Carlos Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, S.C. Ferrari's Erasmo de Sousa got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of Dorking United FC booed when S.C. Ferrari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Darius Dimmock sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Carlos Oliveira skillfully saved the ball. Trevor Burns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beto Guedes's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Ali Numan Abdulhakimoğlu's late challenge caught a S.C. Ferrari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Numan Abdulhakimoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Niels Saluz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Oliveira having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Vivaldo Cerezo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 32 minutes of play, Dorking United FC's Mike Jefferies made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Carlos Oliveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Darius Dimmock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Carlos Oliveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After 40 minutes, Niels Saluz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dorking United FC and the S.C. Ferrari players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the S.C. Ferrari defense, Darius Dimmock kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Carlos Oliveira. The S.C. Ferrari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Carlos Oliveira should have stopped the shot. The S.C. Ferrari players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dorking United FC were winning 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mike Jefferies made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Dorking United FC's Niels Saluz got a free kick in the 54th minute. Carlos Eduardo Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Trevor Burns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Dorking United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Jefferies to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Dorking United FC's Darius Dimmock got a free kick in the 60th minute. Ferrari's Willian Paes was substituted for Carlos Eduardo Penha. S.C. Ferrari's Váldson do Vale was substituted for Kléberson Sabóia. Dorking United FC's Bart Sutton was substituted for Mike Jefferies. S.C. Ferrari's Aloísio Mangueira was substituted for Vivaldo Cerezo. After a defensive mix-up in S.C. Ferrari's zone, Darius Dimmock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Carlos Oliveira came out of the goal and Darius Dimmock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, João Carlos Oliveira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Sparks during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Dorking United FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Tommy Sparks hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Guedes in the 82nd minute of play forced Dorking United FC's goalkeeper Trevor Burns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trevor Burns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elano Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Váldson do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Sparks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Carlos Oliveira having to make a save. A hard shot 89 in the game by Bart Sutton from a close distance when the talented João Carlos Oliveira managed to make a qualified save. S.C. Ferrari's players were relieved. Marty Cummins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. João Carlos Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Carlos Oliveira didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 0-7.
