Melquiades Sanduru who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Lolo Lorenzo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ruperto Jerrald charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Jerrald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Los Irrompibles booed when Showtime FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Braulio Acevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Irrompibles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Acevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gervasio Endura to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Los Irrompibles's Victor Cibran got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd match minute, Los Irrompibles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Endura to maneuver through the defense. Leonides Lugo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Endura in the 77th minute of the match. Fidel Kusko might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Lugo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fidel Kusko ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonides Lugo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervasio Endura's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. During the 80th minute of the match Carolo Naldo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carolo Naldo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Los Irrompibles's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Showtime FC had won, even though Los Irrompibles had held more of the ball.
