In the 5thth minute of the game Zé Roberto Félix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nouvelle Vague's Gualterio Socorro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 5 minutes into the game, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Benny Mbappè nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualterio Socorro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The attack was good, but when Benny Mbappè in the 18th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 25th minute, Cipriano Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Victorino Mano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd match minute, Nouvelle Vague was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Hermon to maneuver through the defense. Gualterio Socorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Roberto Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute of the match ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ got a corner. Nouvelle Vague's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benny Mbappè ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Froilan Ederono hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Benny Mbappè in the 51st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Gualterio Socorro was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Nouvelle Vague through an amazing save. When Nouvelle Vague's Lucio Caetano in 56 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Carlinhos Gøl guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 60 minutes into the match, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Hermon came free, but Carlinhos Gøl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Roberto Félix took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualterio Socorro. Gualterio Socorro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 73 played minutes Nouvelle Vague got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Frechoso. Carlinhos Gøl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Caetano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Gualterio Socorro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zé Roberto Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th match minute, Nouvelle Vague was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Mano to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Froilan Ederono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Gøl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualterio Socorro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Roberto Félix in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
