Evaristo Trucios came out of the goal and Alkeides Hagias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Washington Martínez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Dimosthenis Zaloumi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to CF Eleven Lions 2007 getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jose Ramon Vivanco hit a great ball. APOELHELLAS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Kris Palmann scored to the left of an out of position Dimosthenis Zaloumi, making the score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Martínez got free with Dimosthenis Zaloumi in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Washington Martínez took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dimosthenis Zaloumi to make any attempt to save it. Pepe Mellibosky charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pepe Mellibosky the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CF Eleven Lions 2007's Pepe Mellibosky got a free kick in the 27th minute. Iphikles Papadakos struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Evaristo Trucios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for APOELHELLAS. In the 36th minute of the match Kastor Kalogeria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evaristo Trucios showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to APOELHELLAS getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Iphiklos Koumanidis hit a great ball. Pepe Mellibosky's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Dimosthenis Zaloumi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 41st match minute, APOELHELLAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkibiades Stamatelopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Pepe Mellibosky got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kris Palmann to strike the kick off in the second half. Dimosthenis Zaloumi came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by CF Eleven Lions 2007's Washington Martínez. But to his dismay, Washington Martínez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Dimosthenis Zaloumi came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by CF Eleven Lions 2007's Franco Cannavaro. But to his dismay, Franco Cannavaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Franco Cannavaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CF Eleven Lions 2007's Sandro Cornejo was substituted for Washington Martínez. 81 minutes into the game, CF Eleven Lions 2007's Pepe Mellibosky nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimosthenis Zaloumi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of CF Eleven Lions 2007:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of APOELHELLAS:s goal. Evaristo Trucios had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Nykteus Tsembelis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Iphikles Papadakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 95 in the game by Iphikles Papadakos from a close distance when the talented Evaristo Trucios managed to make a qualified save. CF Eleven Lions 2007's players were relieved. In the 98th minute Kris Palmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimosthenis Zaloumi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
