Spectators: 183 (Terracing: 138, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Iphikles Papadakos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of APOELHELLAS booed when San Lorenzo de Mar del was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Transito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, APOELHELLAS's goal looked a bit too open when Edin Cavani came free, but Dimosthenis Zaloumi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Edin Cavani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dimosthenis Zaloumi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, APOELHELLAS's Adrastos Demakis got a free kick in the 14th minute. Dimosthenis Zaloumi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edin Cavani's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Ignacio-Luis Gusachenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nykteus Tsembelis in the 17th minute of play. Iphikles Papadakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ignacio-Luis Gusachenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes San Lorenzo de Mar del got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Pacho. 25 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Mar del's goalkeeper Ignacio-Luis Gusachenko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iphikles Papadakos. Akhilleus Markopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Akhilleus Markopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 35 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo de Mar del's Edin Cavani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimosthenis Zaloumi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 39th minute, Edin Cavani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimosthenis Zaloumi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 43rd minute, APOELHELLAS's Nykteus Tsembelis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ignacio-Luis Gusachenko. Ignacio-Luis Gusachenko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Dimosthenis Zaloumi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Cavani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edin Cavani made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavino Frans got free with Dimosthenis Zaloumi in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. APOELHELLAS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edin Cavani 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Dimosthenis Zaloumi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Clodio in the 63rd minute of the match. Dimosthenis Zaloumi came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo de Mar del's Wilfredo Clodio. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Clodio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. 74 minutes into the match, Augusto Enetz notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of APOELHELLAS's Dimosthenis Zaloumi. Dimosthenis Zaloumi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 78 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Mar del's goal looked a bit too open when Alkeides Hagias came free, but Ignacio-Luis Gusachenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Alkeides Hagias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but San Lorenzo de Mar del's Ignacio-Luis Gusachenko did a great save. San Lorenzo de Mar del's Eduardo De Francesco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dimosthenis Zaloumi was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Wilfredo Clodio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilfredo Clodio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-9. Augusto Enetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimosthenis Zaloumi having to interfere. Arnaldo Transito kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The APOELHELLAS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. San Lorenzo de Mar del were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
