In the 15th play minute Thijs Seedorf came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Calistrat Romaşcanu. 3-0. In the 21st minute, Gerrit Wolf made a precise shot to the right of Calistrat Romaşcanu. Romos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Billy de Jong kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Billy de Jong during the 28th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Romos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Petcu to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Pisang Goreng United's Martien Adriaanse slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Calistrat Romaşcanu. That made the score 5-1 after 36 minutes of play. 41 minutes into the match, Romos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit Wolf came free, but Calistrat Romaşcanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Pavel Avarvarei sped through Pisang Goreng United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilfried van Nistelrooij. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pavel Avarvarei to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Gerrit Wolf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pisang Goreng United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerrit Wolf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Thijs Seedorf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calistrat Romaşcanu was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 55 played minutes Romos FC got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Stoican. The Romos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calistrat Romaşcanu should have stopped the shot. After 65 minutes of play, Romos FC's Pavel Avarvarei made it 7-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilfried van Nistelrooij was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Tudor Petcu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilfried van Nistelrooij. That made the score 7-4 in the 68 minute of play. Calistrat Romaşcanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thijs Seedorf in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pisang Goreng United's Roelof Rodenboog got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martien Adriaanse in the 75th minute of play forced Romos FC's goalkeeper Calistrat Romaşcanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romos FC's Pavel Avarvarei got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martien Adriaanse kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Sebastian Chiper fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romos FC's protests and gave Sebastian Chiper a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Romos FC's Sebastian Chiper got a free kick in the 84th minute.
