Simon Wennersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robert Nordgren hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Malte Danielsson in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calistrat Romaşcanu saved Romos FC from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Simon Wennersten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Calistrat Romaşcanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 19th minute Malte Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Romaşcanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Wennersten took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calistrat Romaşcanu. Calistrat Romaşcanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Björnlunda IF's Simon Wennersten got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pompiliu Cristian kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Simon Wennersten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Calistrat Romaşcanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Malte Danielsson in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calistrat Romaşcanu saved Romos FC from getting behind. After having played for 40 minutes, Simon Wennersten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björnlunda IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Wennersten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Romos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Malte Danielsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 42nd minute of the match, Simon Wennersten got a very nice opportunity to score, but Calistrat Romaşcanu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 44 minutes into the game, Simon Wennersten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Calistrat Romaşcanu. Simon Wennersten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ion Tonegaru was the one to do the kick off. Johan Mjällby hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Björnlunda IF's Malte Danielsson got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Romos FC's Robert Oprescu got a free kick in the 59th minute. Simon Wennersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ioan Mustăcilă hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Simon Wennersten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björnlunda IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Wennersten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romos FC's Calistrat Romaşcanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Wennersten in the 75th minute of play. Simon Wennersten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Calistrat Romaşcanu having to make a save. Simon Wennersten struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Calistrat Romaşcanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Björnlunda IF. After 87 minutes, Simon Wennersten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Björnlunda IF and the Romos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Björnlunda IF getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Simon Wennersten hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Simon Wennersten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Björnlunda IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Calistrat Romaşcanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Wennersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pompiliu Cristian fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romos FC's protests and gave Pompiliu Cristian a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Björnlunda IF booed when Romos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pompiliu Cristian didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Simon Wennersten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calistrat Romaşcanu was relentless in the 99th minute of the game. Björnlunda IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
