After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Benjamin Herrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Lombroso's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Herrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Håkan Botvidsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 7 minutes, Benjamin Herrera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Lombroso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Herrera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Defensores de Lombroso's Tadeo Laurgain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Lundström in the 18th minute of play. Benjamin Herrera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Håkan Botvidsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Håkan Botvidsson came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Lombroso's Benjamin Herrera. But to his dismay, Benjamin Herrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 39th minute, Defensores de Lombroso's Benjamin Herrera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 46 minutes into the game, Benjamin Herrera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Håkan Botvidsson. Benjamin Herrera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Håkan Botvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Herrera in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Botvidsson saved IFK Kik from getting behind. Håkan Botvidsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Herrera's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Benjamin Herrera took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Håkan Botvidsson. Håkan Botvidsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Kik's zone, Pelle Haglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Botvidsson came out of the goal and Pelle Haglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Håkan Botvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Herrera in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Edi Cavani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Tadeo Laurgain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrik Myr. 84 minutes into the game, Defensores de Lombroso's Benjamin Herrera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Håkan Botvidsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When IFK Kik's Fredric Lundström in 87 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tadeo Laurgain guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vilhelm Martinsson during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vilhelm Martinsson hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Benjamin Herrera might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Håkan Botvidsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Herrera ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the IFK Kik players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Defensores de Lombroso.
