The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Seco in the 4th minute of play forced Red Bull Club's goalkeeper Fidan Tanasievski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Red Bull Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan de Medeiros was slow to take the kick. During this time Granadero10's players had a chance to rest. Granadero10's Juan de Medeiros was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fidan Tanasievski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 9 minutes into the game, Inácio Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granadero10's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Bull Club the free kick. With a little luck, Granadero10's Sydney Barros got control of the ball when Ivica Cvetkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Inácio Barbosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidan Tanasievski having to make a save. Fidan Tanasievski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivica Cvetkov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Sydney Barros made a huge save. Fidan Tanasievski came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Granadero10's Inácio Barbosa. But to his dismay, Inácio Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Granadero10 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gilberto Trigo made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Gilberto Trigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granadero10's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Bull Club the free kick. Red Bull Club's Fidan Tanasievski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Barbosa in the 53rd minute of play. Gilberto Trigo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Gilberto Trigo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Red Bull Club's Fidan Tanasievski. Fidan Tanasievski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 63 minutes, Gilberto Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granadero10's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Red Bull Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Trigo came free, but Fidan Tanasievski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Red Bull Club got a freekick which was hit by Risto Cukovski. Giuseppe Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fidan Tanasievski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Red Bull Club's Fidan Tanasievski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Red Bull Club from getting a goal against them. Giuseppe Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Red Bull Club got a freekick which was hit by Špend Bošnjaku. In the 89th match minute, Red Bull Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Risto Cukovski to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilberto Trigo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fidan Tanasievski. That made the score 0-3 in the 91 minute of play.
