Mihail Cepoi started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihail Cepoi in the 4th managed to get into a good position. In the 6th minute, Ilie Purice got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Dutch Rebels getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Dirk Voet hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mihail Cepoi sped through Dutch Rebels's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante De Smet. Ciprian Iordache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yens Iansens, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the FC Truseni defense, Yens Iansens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciprian Iordache. The FC Truseni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciprian Iordache should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 26 in the game by Mihail Cepoi from a close distance when the talented Dante De Smet managed to make a qualified save. Dutch Rebels's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ilie Purice managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Truseni's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilie Purice was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante De Smet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geoffry Borginions charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geoffry Borginions the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Dutch Rebels got a freekick which was hit by Geoffry Borginions. If Ilie Purice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34thth minute of the game Yens Iansens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Truseni's Ciprian Iordache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante De Smet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihail Cepoi's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. The audience was convinced that Mihail Cepoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante De Smet was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Ciprian Iordache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoffry Borginions in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Yens Iansens made the kick off in the second half. Dutch Rebels's Dante De Smet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Cepoi in the 51st minute of play. In the 59th minute, Radu Briceag hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Guilian Boffin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dutch Rebels's supporters rose to their feet, but Guilian Boffin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciprian Iordache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Alexei Jereghi got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 67th minute Mihail Cepoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante De Smet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Truseni were furious when Florin Burduja was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 68th minute, one of FC Truseni:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Truseni. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yens Iansens in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Truseni's goalkeeper Ciprian Iordache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes, Yens Iansens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dutch Rebels and the FC Truseni players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dutch Rebels's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
