Pedro Asur came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Premier FC's Oswaldo Alvarenga. But to his dismay, Oswaldo Alvarenga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 6 minutes, Oscar Guerrero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaviotas FC and the Premier FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Premier FC booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gaviotas FC's Oscar Guerrero got a free kick in the 9th minute. Pedro Asur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá da Costa in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Premier FC booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Gimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gaviotas FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Baldomiro Oliverios hit a great ball. After 33 played minutes Premier FC got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Prata. Jaime Jerico hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Cauan Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Ursino hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Jaime Jerico made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Paulo José Vianna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Asur. Gaviotas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo José Vianna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 57 played minutes Premier FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Amaral. Gaviotas FC's Isidro Vimaro was substituted for Fabricio Jakobe. Gaviotas FC's Patricio Oriol was substituted for Elias Ursino. In the 58th minute, Vítor Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 59 minutes, Gaston Gudesteo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaviotas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Gudesteo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Dadá da Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Pedro Asur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Ildefonso Ortle replaced Baldomiro Oliverios. Pedro Asur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Premier FC were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Gaviotas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulo José Vianna took the corner. Premier FC's Paulo José Vianna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Asur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cauan Barros in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Asur saved Gaviotas FC from getting behind. When Sebastian Gimenez fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaviotas FC's protests and gave Sebastian Gimenez a yellow card for diving instead. Cauan Barros succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. In the 86thth minute of the game Cauan Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaviotas FC's Pedro Asur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 90 played minutes Premier FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Vianna. Jaime Jerico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ernani Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Jaime Jerico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernani Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Jerico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Gaviotas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Premier FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Premier FC.
