In the 11th match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabien Ayache to maneuver through the defense. Alix Geoffray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Oliverios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaviotas FC's Pedro Asur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Robinet in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Jaime Jerico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alix Geoffray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaviotas FC's Pedro Asur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Gaviotas FC from getting a goal against them. After 29 played minutes Rathmore Lime Tree got a freekick which was hit by Rayan Blaize. Toufik Loir struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Pedro Asur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rathmore Lime Tree. Camille Thiéblemont sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38thth minute of the game Yves Robinet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaviotas FC's Pedro Asur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabien Ayache to maneuver through the defense. Alix Geoffray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Jerico in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yves Robinet to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Elias Ursino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gaviotas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rathmore Lime Tree the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Elias Ursino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Asur came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rathmore Lime Tree's Yves Robinet. But to his dismay, Yves Robinet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Fabien Ayache's late challenge caught a Gaviotas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabien Ayache helped the player get up and apologised. Fabien Ayache kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Gaviotas FC's Isidro Vimaro was substituted for Fabricio Jakobe. Yves Robinet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yves Robinet in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Asur saved Gaviotas FC from getting behind. In the 70th minute Yves Robinet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Asur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaviotas FC's Pedro Asur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toufik Loir in the 72nd minute of play. Rathmore Lime Tree's Amine Pinault was substituted for Toufik Loir. The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erwann Bray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Asur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amine Pinault in the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Gaviotas FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gaston Gudesteo hit a great ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Camille Thiéblemont managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rathmore Lime Tree's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camille Thiéblemont was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yves Robinet might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Asur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yves Robinet ran back to his position shaking his head. Amine Pinault recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Jerico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
