With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Gipuzkoa in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustin Gabirel saved Björkö from getting behind. Björkö's Agustin Gabirel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Björkö from getting a goal against them. Filip Askstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filip Askstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filip Askstedt hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 52 played minutes Björkö got a freekick which was hit by Sigvard Tomasson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Gipuzkoa in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agustin Gabirel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zuberbühler FC's Anier Laurin was substituted for Carmelo Inocente. After some careless play in the Björkö defense, Luisito Reynardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Gabirel. The Björkö fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Gabirel should have stopped the shot. Zuberbühler FC's Jorge Macerio was substituted for Carmelo Corderun. The throw-in from Anier Laurin in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Björkö's Sigvard Tomasson. In the 82nd match minute, Björkö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Bagge to maneuver through the defense. When Luisito Reynardo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Zuberbühler FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Reynardo couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Zuberbühler FC were the better team. Zuberbühler FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
