The audience thought a goal was coming when Adérito Lustosa got free with Erling Ahlin in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristóvão Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Ahlin having to interfere. Rottneros FK's Erling Ahlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Rottneros FK from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute of the match, Cristóvão Magalhães tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erling Ahlin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Francisco Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Liljeström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Ove Kilström in the 12th minute of play. Adérito Lustosa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Erling Ahlin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 19 minutes into the match, Josué Taveira notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Rottneros FK's Erling Ahlin. Erling Ahlin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adérito Lustosa in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erling Ahlin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Francisco Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Liljeström in the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Peter Stuyvesant FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Pihl came free, but Francisco Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Rottneros FK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Magalhães came free, but Erling Ahlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes Rottneros FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Telmo Velasques who took care of the corner kick. Cristóvão Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Peter Stuyvesant FC booed when Rottneros FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Harlén didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Peter Stuyvesant FC's Cristóvão Magalhães ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erling Ahlin. Erling Ahlin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The Peter Stuyvesant FC fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Peter Stuyvesant FC's Cristóvão Magalhães looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Magalhães to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Peter Stuyvesant FC's Cristóvão Magalhães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erling Ahlin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Erling Ahlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adérito Lustosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Rottneros FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Harlén to maneuver through the defense. Peter Stuyvesant FC's Adérito Lustosa got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adérito Lustosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Erling Ahlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristóvão Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erling Ahlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adérito Lustosa in the 79th minute of play. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Cristóvão Magalhães sped through Rottneros FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erling Ahlin. When Cristóvão Magalhães came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Peter Stuyvesant FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Magalhães couldn't finish the play. Josué Taveira kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Peter Stuyvesant FC's Francisco Quirino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Peter Stuyvesant FC from getting a goal against them. Erling Ahlin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adérito Lustosa went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the match, Rottneros FK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Magalhães came free, but Erling Ahlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Josué Taveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Erling Ahlin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Peter Stuyvesant FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
