Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Des Wicks started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Brookman in the 5th minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Menegatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Telmo Souza hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jonny Wilkinson hit a great ball. Matthew Brookman took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Luís Menegatti. Pedro Luís Menegatti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Kenny Duckworth hit a great ball. Alistair Riley's late challenge caught a Canarinho Atordoado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alistair Riley helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 27 minutes, Naldo Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canarinho Atordoado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naldo Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Des Wicks in the 42nd minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Menegatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Canarinho Atordoado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Abraão to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Brookman came free, but Pedro Luís Menegatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Egg Chasers FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alistair Riley kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Pete Partridge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's goal looked a bit too open when Des Wicks came free, but Pedro Luís Menegatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Pete Partridge fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dé Pontikas charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dé Pontikas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Canarinho Atordoado getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dé Pontikas hit a great ball. Pedro Luís Menegatti was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Des Wicks capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Des Wicks really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Canarinho Atordoado's Pedro Luís Menegatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Des Wicks in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Machado came free, but Fabien Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Pedro Luís Menegatti managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Egg Chasers FC's Des Wicks fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
