Frederico Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's zone, Severino Dominic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Brasil came out of the goal and Severino Dominic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino Dominic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvaldo Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Severino Dominic blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvaldo Brasil having to make a save. After 29 minutes of play, λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Téo Medeiros made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blas Matthew was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute Severino Dominic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Dominic received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edvaldo Brasil came out and tried to block the shot, but Severino Dominic slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 38th minute. In the 44th minute, Arsenio Darien reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edvaldo Brasil. The goal made the score 4-1. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Hamílton Martins was substituted for Frederico Vasconcelos. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 55 minutes, Severino Dominic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cieneguita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Dominic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th match minute, λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giovani Lago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Blas Matthew made a huge save. Edvaldo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Dominic in the 66th minute of play. Alfonso Rayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Brasil having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Cieneguita's Severino Dominic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvaldo Brasil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Edvaldo Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Dominic in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 minutes, Urbano Theobald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cieneguita and the λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR booed when Cieneguita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Theobald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blas Matthew didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giovani Lago went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. A throw-in in the 87th minute of the game was made by Célio Meirelles with Hamílton Martins as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Astor Gentza kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The supporters of λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR booed when Cieneguita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Theobald didn't get a good kick on the ball.
