The supporters of Tottenham de ROMANIA booed when Grêmio Felipe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tottenham de ROMANIA's Nicodim Maior got a free kick in the 6th minute. Elder Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Sergiu Zbereanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorginho Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Chiuzbaian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes of play, Tottenham de ROMANIA's Petruț Calomfirescu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorginho Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tottenham de ROMANIA's Claudiu Bărboianu got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Iulian Chiuzbaian notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Grêmio Felipe's Jorginho Quirino. Jorginho Quirino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petruț Calomfirescu in the 21st minute of play forced Grêmio Felipe's goalkeeper Jorginho Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorginho Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Bărboianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Elder Queirós's late challenge caught a Tottenham de ROMANIA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elder Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Grêmio Felipe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio de Brito to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Fellipe Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Ion Mănescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorginho Quirino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With 31 minutes on the clock, Fellipe Pimenta commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Tottenham de ROMANIA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Elder Queirós scored to the left of an out of position Sergiu Zbereanu, making the score, 1-2. In the 44th minute Elder Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Zbereanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Tottenham de ROMANIA got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Bărboianu. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elder Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Claudiu Bărboianu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tottenham de ROMANIA and the Grêmio Felipe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute Elder Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Zbereanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betinho Munhoz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Elder Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Betinho Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio Felipe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betinho Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute Elder Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Zbereanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes, Sorin Mudura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tottenham de ROMANIA and the Grêmio Felipe players grew even worse after the yellow card. 96 minutes into the match, Elder Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergiu Zbereanu. Tottenham de ROMANIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elder Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Grêmio Felipe fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tottenham de ROMANIA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
