With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Mourato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ziemowit Grajewskis short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Paulo Mourato to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Saúl Pais kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Zbyszko Misiorowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Paulo Mourato made a huge save. The supporters of Twierdza Wroclaw booed when Solpontense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Damásio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leszek Wysocki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Paulo Mourato made a huge save. Paulo Mourato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbyszko Misiorowski in the 24th minute. A collision led to Solpontense F.C. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Vicente Viegas hit a great ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Tiago Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Twierdza Wroclaw's Mariusz Buczak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Twierdza Wroclaw's Korneliusz Jenkot dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ryszard Seliga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Mourato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Mariusz Buczak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Abreu's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The audience was convinced that Tiago Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariusz Buczak was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korneliusz Jenkot in the 48th minute of play forced Solpontense F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Mourato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiago Abreu to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tolek Bartocha during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Twierdza Wroclaw's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Solpontense F.C. the free kick. After 75 played minutes Twierdza Wroclaw got a freekick which was hit by Leszek Wysocki. 78 minutes into the match, Solpontense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Bartocha came free, but Paulo Mourato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Solpontense F.C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Zarco Rodrigues hit a great ball. Paulo Mourato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Wysocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Twierdza Wroclaw getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Roch Glozor hit a great ball. Mariusz Buczak acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Laureano Lage. Tiago Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Mariusz Buczak made a huge save. When Twierdza Wroclaw's Ryszard Seliga in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee ended the match the Twierdza Wroclaw players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
