In the 17thth minute of the game Atila Cabezon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Roma's Carlo Cirone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Roma's Aurelio Barresi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of King Køng. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. 25 minutes into the game, AC Roma's Felice Fantozzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. King Køng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in AC Roma's zone, Xaver Lomelin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Cirone came out of the goal and Xaver Lomelin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the AC Roma defense, Segio Romillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlo Cirone. The AC Roma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlo Cirone should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felice Fantozzi got free with King Køng in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xaver Lomelin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Cesare Chizzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. King Køng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Barresi in the 47th minute of the match.

If Felice Fantozzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AC Roma's Felice Fantozzi got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of AC Roma booed when Kaiser! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Ocasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Kaiser!'s goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Barresi came free, but King Køng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goalkeeper Carlo Cirone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segio Romillo. In the 66th minute Segio Romillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Cirone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Ruperto Gallego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Cirone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segio Romillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 76th minute Segio Romillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Cirone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Kaiser!'s Segio Romillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlo Cirone. Carlo Cirone yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. 84 minutes into the game, Atila Cabezon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kaiser!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Roma the free kick.
