After having played for 35 minutes, Felice Fantozzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Roma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felice Fantozzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Henger ATI's Traian Muja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Cirelli in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Felice Fantozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Traian Muja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Chizzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sever Zbârcea made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cosimo Maccarone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Henger ATI's Traian Muja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Chizzo in the 57th minute of play. After 57 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Cirelli. Carlo Cirone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Mineață, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mircea Sinulescu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Henger ATI's Mircea Sinulescu got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 69th match minute, FC Henger ATI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Vasilache to maneuver through the defense. After 71 minutes of play, AC Roma's Cesare Chizzo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Traian Muja was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Sever Zbârcea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlo Cirone was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Traian Muja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Cirelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Traian Muja came out and tried to block the shot, but Cesare Chizzo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 82nd minute. Traian Muja was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aurelio Barresi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 87 minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Felice Fantozzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Traian Muja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over AC Roma could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Henger ATI throughout the match.
