The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yannick Trame during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Granateam booed when ΜUΣΑΛΑ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yannick Trame didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Toni Schulze-Oben made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Gilesindo. Granateam's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marcial Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Schnoor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toni Schulze-Oben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 played minutes, ΜUΣΑΛΑ's Heiko Barzik shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcial Gilesindo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ΜUΣΑΛΑ reached it. After the first half ΜUΣΑΛΑ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Locaio to strike the kick off in the second half. Toni Schulze-Oben's late challenge caught a Granateam's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toni Schulze-Oben helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, ΜUΣΑΛΑ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Schulze-Oben to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Granateam getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Martin Locaio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Rioja in the 70th minute of play forced ΜUΣΑΛΑ's goalkeeper Robert Brückl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Gilesindo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when ΜUΣΑΛΑ's Toni Schulze-Oben shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee showed Martin Locaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Granateam getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Martin Locaio hit a great ball. A hard shot by Yannick Trame from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Marcial Gilesindo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. ΜUΣΑΛΑ's Toni Schulze-Oben got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute Toni Schulze-Oben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ΜUΣΑΛΑ's Robin-Pascal Stocker got a free kick in the 89th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ΜUΣΑΛΑ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
