La France FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javi Amato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Javi Amato managed to get in a good position for a shot. PALMEIRAS FC's Durvalino Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save PALMEIRAS FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of La France FC booed when PALMEIRAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Dani Amato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The La France FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La France FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
