The crowd rose to their feet as Sprite Star Football's Monge Mong slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Germano Medeiros. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Angelo Linares struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Germano Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sprite Star Football. A collision led to Omakeka getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Altino Freitas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Omakeka's Januário Castelo Branco got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Christiano Ramalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Germano Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christiano Ramalho ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Omakeka's Germano Medeiros got control of the ball when Christiano Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Sprite Star Football's Angelo Linares in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Monge Mong ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the game, Angelo Linares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Germano Medeiros. Angelo Linares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Monge Mong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Lobo charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Lobo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Omakeka got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Lobo.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivo Pereira to make the kick off. Carlos Lobo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sprite Star Football booed when Omakeka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sprite Star Football's Betão Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Pereira in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Sprite Star Football booed when Omakeka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Carvalhais didn't get a good kick on the ball. Januário Castelo Branco hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Omakeka's zone, Angelo Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano Medeiros came out of the goal and Angelo Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonçalo Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Angelo Linares struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Germano Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sprite Star Football. Omakeka made a substitution. Jairo Montenegro replaced Ivo Pereira. Germano Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Januário Castelo Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Lobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Betão Paraíba made a huge save. Sprite Star Football's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
