After 20 minutes, Almandoz Gual mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LRPV and the Festis BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Manfred Gudmundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Festis BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfred Gudmundsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Borinaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th match minute, Festis BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Gudmundsson to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Emenon was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Emenon in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Borinaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Almandoz Gual got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 54th minute, Almandoz Gual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Veronica Egea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Manfred Gudmundsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Contera's late challenge caught a Festis BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Contera helped the player get up and apologised. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Borinaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mario Borinaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Odén in the 86th minute of play. After some careless play in the LRPV defense, Manfred Gudmundsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Borinaga. The LRPV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Borinaga should have stopped the shot. If Manfred Gudmundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Festis BK were the better team. Festis BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
