The Cavaliers FC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Cavaliers FC's Higinio Eate looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Eate got free with Austin Sinanan in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Austin Sinanan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Eate, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Higinio Eate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute Higinio Eate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Austin Sinanan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Austin Sinanan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Eate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Yankaran during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chaguanas AC's Austin Sinanan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Eate in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Chaguanas AC defense, Higinio Eate kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Austin Sinanan. The Chaguanas AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Austin Sinanan should have stopped the shot. Higinio Eate might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Austin Sinanan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Higinio Eate ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Eate got free with Austin Sinanan in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Cavaliers FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chaguanas AC throughout the match.
