When Jorge Gyselinx fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Les Bistouquettes Bleues's protests and gave Jorge Gyselinx a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Jorge Gyselinx got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Tytus Giertych shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Preudhomme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arno Slegers charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arno Slegers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Wrocanka booed when Les Bistouquettes Bleues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arno Slegers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Augustijn Dujardin got a free kick in the 14th minute. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arno Slegers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, FC Wrocanka's goal looked a bit too open when Matthy Sommers came free, but Emil Majtyka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

FC Wrocanka's Emil Majtyka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeff Van Haechten in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wrocanka's goalkeeper Emil Majtyka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Matthy Sommers made a precise shot to the right of Emil Majtyka. FC Wrocanka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Arno Slegers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Majtyka having to make a save. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Augustijn Dujardin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Majtyka having to interfere. The FC Wrocanka supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Les Bistouquettes Bleues's performance. The match ended with a win for Les Bistouquettes Bleues.
