Nova Era's Egídio Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredo Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Seber in the 8th minute of play. Francisco Thomas hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Nova Era got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Viana. A collision led to Nova Era getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gildo Viana hit a great ball. Alfredo Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Seber in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of NETTO FC booed when Nova Era was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Seber in the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Nova Era getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Yan Gaspar hit a great ball. Cristobal Urtzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vito Freire went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Nova Era's Egídio Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 played minutes Nova Era got a freekick which was hit by Bernardinho Vaz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

NETTO FC made a substitution. Ildefonso Costante replaced Diego Kelemen. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vito Freire to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Vaz in the 58th minute of play forced NETTO FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 83 minutes, Vito Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Era's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egídio Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Urtzi having to interfere. Cristobal Urtzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Freire in the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the game Julio Lehen made a throw-in which Freddy Joey played forward. Egídio Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. NETTO FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Nova Era had won, even though NETTO FC had held more of the ball.
