Jabuticaba EC's Luiz Gustavo Marinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Jabuticaba EC from getting a goal against them. Roberto Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Teofilio having to interfere. Luiz Gustavo Marinho was a little too slow when Urbano Oxarra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Americo Jakes took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Luiz Gustavo Marinho to make any attempt to save it. When Fabinho Favoretto fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jabuticaba EC's protests and gave Fabinho Favoretto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of La Mitad Mas Uno booed when Jabuticaba EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marciano Abreus short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Luiz Gustavo Marinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Remo Penha scored 3-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godfredo Teofilio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to La Mitad Mas Uno getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Vinicio Florinio hit a great ball. Agustin Pere charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustin Pere the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, La Mitad Mas Uno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Pere to maneuver through the defense. Fabinho Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Godfredo Teofilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes La Mitad Mas Uno got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Semeno.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Americo Jakes was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Neves during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 minutes of play La Mitad Mas Uno's Americo Jakes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 55th minute, Roberto Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 56 played minutes La Mitad Mas Uno got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Florinio. With an all-out effort, Jabuticaba EC's Godfredo Teofilio threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roberto Neves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Mitad Mas Uno's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roberto Neves was slow to take the kick. During this time Jabuticaba EC's players had a chance to rest. Luís Fernando Proença made a great header on Jabuticaba EC's corner, it was just that La Mitad Mas Uno's Godfredo Teofilio managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 69th match minute, La Mitad Mas Uno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Illart to maneuver through the defense. Agustin Pere got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Agustin Pere kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Jabuticaba EC's Fabinho Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marciano Abreu during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La Mitad Mas Uno getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Marciano Abreu hit a great ball.
