A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ignacio Oto hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Cecilio Serafo got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jörn Bodin struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Dionisio Olivar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al-Tåga. Al-Tåga's Philip Eskilsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Oto in the 24th minute of play. When Teodoro Lixandro fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Teodoro Lixandro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Teodoro Lixandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If John Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils-Emil Vallander to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Iker Kinsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors and the Al-Tåga players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Boca Juniors! Pelle Deckbergh kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Anier Oton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philip Eskilsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Al-Tåga's Nils-Emil Vallander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dionisio Olivar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When Teodoro Lixandro came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Lixandro couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Ignacio Oto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Cesar Cristofol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75thth minute of the game Henrik Skarkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Dionisio Olivar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Al-Tåga's Philip Eskilsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Telmo in the 77th minute of play. Ignacio Oto hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Al-Tåga's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Lixandro came free, but Philip Eskilsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Telmo's late challenge caught a Al-Tåga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Telmo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Telmo to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Skarkman came free, but Dionisio Olivar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åke Svartengren hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Anier Oton sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Al-Tåga's Philip Eskilsson didn't even have to move. Daniel Bras hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Boca Juniors's Dionisio Olivar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. Philip Eskilsson came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Godfredo Telmo. But to his dismay, Godfredo Telmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3.
