Naldo Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 minutes, Oswaldo Barrionuevo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. GLocos do Cerrado FC's Matheus Salgado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Pico Garonaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, GLocos do Cerrado FC's Naldo Guimarães got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 39 played minutes, Club Puerto Quito's Rodríguez Celerain shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matheus Salgado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Puerto Quito reached it. GLocos do Cerrado FC's Matheus Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Barrionuevo in the 42nd minute of play. Ramírez Aneutes struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Matheus Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Puerto Quito. After the first half Club Puerto Quito were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oswaldo Barrionuevo made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Puerto Quito's Rolando Devalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matheus Salgado. That made the score 0-2 after 55 minutes of play. Matheus Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Barrionuevo in the 75th minute of the match. If Rolando Devalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Devalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Matheus Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oswaldo Barrionuevos short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Matheus Salgado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The player immediately received a yellow card. 95 minutes into the match, GLocos do Cerrado FC's goalkeeper Matheus Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oswaldo Barrionuevo. When the final whistle sounded Club Puerto Quito left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GLocos do Cerrado FC.
