Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bulsky Sinuraya took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Penang Island's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Latarețu came free, but Fery Guci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 played minutes Penang Island got a freekick which was hit by Fadh Ie. Fery Guci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Latarețu in the 6th minute of the match. Valer Latarețu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Penang Island's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Gorunescu came free, but Fery Guci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Valer Latarețu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fery Guci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Ibaneasa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bulsky Sinuraya came free, but Vasile Sârbu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Valer Latarețu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fery Guci was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Bulsky Sinuraya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Panait Gorunescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fery Guci having to make a save. Fery Guci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Latarețu in the 33rd minute of the match. Fery Guci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Gorunescu in the 36th minute of play. Valer Latarețu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fery Guci having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valer Latarețu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Penang Island's Fery Guci got control of the ball when Panait Gorunescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ibaneasa FC's Eric Pascariu got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Iordache Rogoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibaneasa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iordache Rogoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fery Guci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Latarețu in the 65th minute of play forced Penang Island's goalkeeper Fery Guci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bulsky Sinuraya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasile Sârbu having to interfere. Panait Gorunescu scored 0-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fery Guci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Panait Gorunescu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 76th playminute. Fery Guci was a little too slow when Valer Latarețu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-3. Fery Guci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Latarețu in the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Penang Island's zone, Panait Gorunescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fery Guci came out of the goal and Panait Gorunescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Penang Island's goalkeeper Fery Guci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panait Gorunescu. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ibaneasa FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
