Bairoletto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frédson Leme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Bairoletto FC's Domingo Roderigo got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Ricardinho Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emerson Cruz in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascual Demario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Frédson Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Patrido was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, INTER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Bartolome came free, but Edinho Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edinho Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Roderigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edinho Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Bartolome in the 31st minute of play. Emerson Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Bairoletto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Cruz came free, but Pascual Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frédson Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Edinho Lira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Bartolome's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute Frédson Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of INTER FC booed when Bairoletto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Emerson Cruz made the kick off in the second half. Javier Umea kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A long shot from Gustavo Quirino in the 53rd minute of play was well struck, but Pascual Demario made a really good save at the right post. INTER FC's Emerson Cruz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 57th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Pascual Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Cruz in the 67th minute of play. Pascual Demario stood somewhat misplaced when Emerson Cruz came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 68 minute. After a defensive mix-up in INTER FC's zone, Aquiles Bartolome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edinho Lira came out of the goal and Aquiles Bartolome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78th play minutes Frédson Leme shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Pascual Demario and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 82nd minute, Luís Ferreira made a precise shot to the right of Pascual Demario. Bairoletto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Edinho Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Canor in the 90th minute of the match. Léo Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. INTER FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
