The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Campana Gitanes Club got a freekick which was hit by Amado Cordeara. When Osvaldo Quin fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campana Gitanes Club's protests and gave Osvaldo Quin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Campana Gitanes Club getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Osvaldo Quin hit a great ball. Calvet Ramiréz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pierres Morcego kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After some careless play in the El Altet FC defense, Vinicio Abechuco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Novo. The El Altet FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Novo should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Novo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Quin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Bartolomé Baltanas's late challenge caught a Campana Gitanes Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolomé Baltanas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Bartolomé Baltanas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinicio Abechuco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Novo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Florencio Innocenzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Baeza, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ruperto Baeza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Innocenzio having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Campana Gitanes Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Baeza came free, but Florencio Innocenzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes Campana Gitanes Club got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Gutxi. In the 39th minute, Ruben Gutxi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Reynaldo Weather had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Campana Gitanes Club getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ruben Gutxi hit a great ball. Calvet Ramiréz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinicio Abechuco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vinicio Abechuco kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Quin in the 68th minute of play forced El Altet FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Novo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 69th minute of the match Bartolomé Baltanas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bartolomé Baltanas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 74th match minute, El Altet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elixio Cerreri to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Novo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Abechuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Novo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Weather, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Jonathan Novo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Quin in the 78th minute of the match. In the 86th minute of the match, Calvet Ramiréz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Florencio Innocenzio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Campana Gitanes Club's Florencio Innocenzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvet Ramiréz in the 87th minute of play. Florencio Innocenzio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calvet Ramiréz's shot from short distance in the 90th minute.
