Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomé Alagoano took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Tenorio Paradela recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cícero Maciel. Tenorio Paradela showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to GOMEZ F.C. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Cafu Santamaria hit a great ball. 1-1 became the score in the 7th minute when Tomé Alagoano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Tenorio Paradela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GOMEZ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Gigel Diaconu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Cícero Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Gigel Diaconu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cícero Maciel. Racing F. C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigel Diaconu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After a rather tough play, Racing F. C's Ronaldão Teles got a free kick in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Lloret got free with Cícero Maciel in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Tomé Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cícero Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Lloret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, João Keane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GOMEZ F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but João Keane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as GOMEZ F.C.'s Patricio Lloret slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cícero Maciel. That made the score 4-1 after 34 minutes of play. 38 minutes into the match, Patricio Lloret had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cícero Maciel. Racing F. C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Lloret was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 43rd minute, Patricio Lloret ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cícero Maciel was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1.

After 61 minutes of play, GOMEZ F.C.'s Patricio Lloret made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cícero Maciel was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Lloret in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cícero Maciel saved Racing F. C from getting behind. Patricio Lloret took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cícero Maciel. Cícero Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. In the 72nd minute of the match Cafu Santamaria sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cícero Maciel skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Racing F. C's José Carlos Mandrak got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The attack was good, but when João Keane in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Racing F. C booed when GOMEZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Diaconu didn't get a good kick on the ball. GOMEZ F.C.'s Tenorio Paradela got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Racing F. C getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jânio Cavalcante hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Gigel Diaconu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cícero Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Racing F. C's Cícero Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Lloret in the 88th minute of play. Cícero Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Diaconu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Racing F. C's goal looked a bit too open when Tenorio Paradela came free, but Cícero Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigel Diaconu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cícero Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cícero Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Lloret, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Gigel Diaconu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cícero Maciel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. GOMEZ F.C. fully deserved thier win.
